A lot of established music majors don't want me to teach this...not this way. They'll say it's cheating but the state of music demands it. Let's not pretend. I'm not going to tell you that you can play Marcus Miller, or Stanley Clarke in 6 weeks...or Jaco, (RIP) That would be blasphemy.
But I can give you the tools to think on your feet; on stage or in the studio. Confidence is a wonderful thing. Radiate soul power. It looks good on you. Stop making excuses. You don't want excuses. You want R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
And if you want to work, you'll want to have a certain level of understanding. It's essential. It's necessary to gain and believe in this secret key to magnetize you. Musicians will demand to work/play with you. Let's keep it real, shall we?.

I'll warn you though. I am often politically incorrect. Practice is necessary, but if you want to sit through endless, boring hours of drills and quite possibly lose the will to live, you won't be interested in cheating legally.
